UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues Program
Since 2004, Land is Life has conducted Human Rights capacity building workshops for indigenous participants at the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII). Since the first session of the UNPFII, in May of 2002, Land is Life has funded participation and provided capacity building for nearly 200 indigenous peoples' representatives, ensuring broad-based, effective participation, and helping to bring critical issues before the Forum.
