Land is Life to host Official Side Event at UNPFII

Since the 1st Session in 2002, Land is Life has long supported the participation of members of its network in the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. This year, along with supporting a delegation of grassroots indigenous representatives from Brazil, Ecuador, India, and the Philippines, Land is Life will host an official side event focused on climate change, food sovereignty, and the role that traditional knowledge can play as a viable solution. The side event will take place on Wednesday, May 14th in the UN Secretariat Building at 3:00pm and feature members of our network alongside US government representatives, allowing for the exchange of different perspectives and experiences.
